World of Warcraft will be featured at Gamescom 2025, held in Cologne, Germany, this August. The team plans to reveal extensive information about 'World of Warcraft: Midnight' (hereinafter 'Midnight'), the second installment of the Worldsoul Saga trilogy. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the newly introduced housing system for the first time.

The World of Warcraft development team announced that the opening cinematic for 'Midnight' will be unveiled for the first time worldwide during the Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live event, which takes place on August 20th at 3:00 AM (KST). Opening Night Live can be viewed via the Gamescom venue and The Game Awards' social channels.

Immediately following Opening Night Live, World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale, Senior Game Director Ion Hazzikostas, and Creative Director Chris Metzen will host a special 'Midnight' reveal broadcast. The stream will provide an in-depth look at the new regions, mechanics, content, and story featured in 'Midnight', and can be watched on the official World of Warcraft YouTube and Twitch channels.

During the event, the World of Warcraft booth in Hall 8 at Gamescom will offer a hands-on experience with the highly anticipated housing system. Furthermore, the World of Warcraft community stage will host developer panels discussing 'Midnight', cosplay contests, and Mythic dungeon and raid showcases, where attendees can meet the developers and popular content creators. A special shop will also be available on-site to purchase 'Midnight' themed merchandise.

Gamescom 2025 is scheduled to run from Wednesday, August 20th, to Sunday, August 24th, in Cologne, Germany. Detailed information regarding the World of Warcraft programs at Gamescom 2025 will be released at a later date.
