Krafton is set to kick off 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS' premier international esports spectacle, the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2025, starting this coming 23rd.

The scale of PNC 2025 has seen a significant boost. The tournament duration has been extended from three days to five, and the roster of competing nations has jumped from 16 to 24 teams. Eight teams, including South Korea, have secured a direct ticket to the Final Stage starting on the 25th based on their performance in the previous year, while the remaining 16 squads must prove their worth in the Survival Stage held over the 23rd and 24th.

Following back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024, the South Korean national team is looking to maintain its dominance. Coach Kim 'PLIKHE' Seong-min will lead the charge, with players Woo 'Salute' Je-hyeon, Jo 'seoul' Gi-yeol, Sim 'Gyumin' Gyu-min, and Kim 'Rain1ng' Jong-myung rounding out the roster.

PNC 2025 will feature a total of 30 matches—six per day—where squads accumulate points based on both eliminations and placement. The prize pool starts at a base of $500,000 USD (approximately 690 million KRW), with additional funds culled from a portion of the Pick'em Challenge item sales, which will be distributed among the teams based on their final standings.

To celebrate the event, a 'PUBG Nations Lounge' will open its doors outside the venue from the 25th to the 27th. Visitors can view the championship trophy, jerseys from all 24 participating teams, and stylized Level 3 helmets representing each nation. Fans can also look forward to autograph sessions featuring some of the competing athletes.

The Final Stage will also feature some live entertainment. Beatbox group 'Beatpella House' will take the stage on the 25th, while K-pop act 'aespa' is scheduled to perform their collaborative track with PUBG, 'Dark Arts', on the final day, the 27th.
