The core of the game lies in how one wields divine power. Players can choose to be a benevolent deity fostering human prosperity or a malevolent force intent on destruction. The more followers one gathers, the greater the influence one commands. To ascend, one must manage mana efficiently to become a more powerful god. As players level up, they can adopt various skill masteries to develop their divine persona and align their traits accordingly.

Each skill mastery has its own level, and special skills are added based on that level. According to the trailer, players can use these expanded powers to bestow positive or negative effects upon their followers, creating unique synergies with their free will. Players can also manipulate the environment itself, allowing them to build new villages, unleash the undead, or bring rain to farmlands, exerting influence regardless of the scale.

Fata Deum will be released on PC and will officially support the Korean language.
