The second season of the official Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond esports tournament is officially underway.

Cygames announced on the 5th that registration for the 'Shadowverse Korea Open 2025 Season 2' (hereinafter SKO 2025 Season 2) is now open. Residents of South Korea aged 16 or older as of the preliminary round date are eligible to apply via the official event website until the 15th.

The SKO Season 2 qualifiers will take place online from the 27th to the 28th. The first day features a best-of-one (BO1) Swiss system using two decks, while the second day sees the top performers from day one clash in a best-of-one (BO1) double-elimination bracket. Eight players will advance to the main tournament, held offline without an audience from October 18th to 19th, with the finals scheduled for October 25th.

The winner of this season will take home a prize of 7,000,000 KRW and secure a spot in the Grand Finals held on November 22nd. The top two finishers in the Grand Finals will earn the right to participate in the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025' in Japan.

Meanwhile, the SKO 2025 boasts a total prize pool of 30,000,000 KRW, with players selected through two regular seasons set to represent Korea at the international 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025'.
