HoYoverse announced on the 30th that the Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 update, titled 'Do You Remember the Dreams of the Past?', will drop on the 15th. This update introduces the 'Old Hill' region and welcomes new Hollow Investigation Association members 'Lucia', 'Idhari', and 'Komano Manato', all of whom boast impressive supernatural sleuthing and combat prowess.

The new main story chapter, 'Do You Remember the Dreams of the Past?', takes us into 'Old Hill', a place famed for its rich deposits of Ether ore. The plot thickens when miners and Porcelumex employees go missing, forcing the Proxy and the Hollow Investigation Association to dive deep into a derelict Hollow to uncover the truth.

Leading the charge is the S-rank Ether support agent 'Lucia', an avid fan of Ethereals who can replicate their form in combat. By building up her 'Dreamscape' gauge, she enters the 'Dreamscape' state, unleashing the 'Ether Veil' and 'Dragon Spring' to buff the party's max HP—a solid choice for those who value protection and strength.

Then we have the S-rank Ice-attribute Stun agent 'Idhari', who plays a risky, flexible game. Her penetration scales with her max HP, and her Ice-attribute skills completely ignore enemy defense. It is a high-stakes balancing act, as she deals more damage when her own health percentage is low, requiring careful management of HP drain and recovery.

Finally, the A-rank Fire-attribute Stun agent 'Komano Manato' utilizes max HP-based penetration for his attacks. You can bag him for free by completing the 'In the Dreams That Haven't Vanished Yet' event. On top of that, Nicole and Anby are getting some tweaks to their potential manifestation and damage mechanics for a smoother combat experience.

Meanwhile, this update introduces the 'Critical Simulation' content. The popular combat photography event, 'Snap! Shining Advance', is also returning with a fresh coat of paint.
