Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene, known for developing PUBG, is set to launch his new title, 'Prologue: Go Wayback' (hereinafter 'Go Wayback'), in Early Access on November 20.

This news was announced on the 28th via a Steam notice from PlayerUnknown Productions. Go Wayback is a survival game where players must survive in the wilderness with minimal equipment, aiming to reach an observatory in a vast world using only a weathered map and a compass. Notably, there are no monsters or wild animals; instead, players must overcome harsh terrain and natural disasters such as cliffs, blizzards, and heavy rain to survive.

Key updates for the Early Access version have also been revealed. The game will feature three modes: 'Go Wayback!', the base mode for reaching the observatory; 'Objective: Survive', where the goal is to survive as long as possible with limited resources; and 'Free Roam', which allows players to explore the world at their leisure. Additionally, custom game settings, a map editor, and map seed sharing features will be included.

Meanwhile, a playtest for Go Wayback is currently underway on Steam. Players can experience the game immediately by clicking the request access button on the Steam page.
