Paper Rex, the formidable force that secured both the 2025 Masters Toronto and VCT Pacific Stage 2 titles, absolutely dominated the 2025 VCT Pacific Season Awards.

The VCT Season Awards, introduced in 2023 when the current Valorant esports structure was first formalised, are held annually to honour the best players, coaches, and managers. This recognition extends across all regions, including Pacific—home to the domestic teams—as well as Americas, EMEA, and CN.

The 'Player of the Year' award for the 2025 season went to none other than PRX's Jason 'f0rsakeN' Susanto. Jason’s aggressive forward pressure and lightning-fast decision-making were the bedrock of PRX’s explosive season. Meanwhile, their head coach Alexandre 'alecks' Salle was named 'Coach of the Year' for steering the squad through a glorious 2025 that included those massive wins at Masters Toronto and Pacific Stage 2.

PRX didn't stop there, sweeping multiple positional awards. Ilya 'something' Petrov claimed 'Duelist of the Year' for his sheer combat prowess, while Khalish 'd4v41' Rusyaidee took home 'Sentinel of the Year' for his rock-solid consistency. In a stunning debut, Patrick 'Patitek' Mendosa walked away with two titles, being crowned both 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Initiator of the Year'.

DRX also saw their stars shine, with Kim 'MaKo' Myeong-kwan and Song 'Flashback' Hyun-min making the list. Kim, known for his unwavering reliability throughout the 2025 season, won 'Controller of the Year'. He cemented his reputation as the best smoker in the Pacific, frequently pulling off 'super plays' to rescue his team in dire straits.

Hailed as the future of DRX, Song 'Flashback' Hyun-min was named 'Most Improved Player of the Year'. This award recognises the player who showed the most remarkable leap in performance compared to the previous season. Song proved his potential by delivering bold, veteran-like plays in critical moments, contributing directly to the team's victories.

The 'In-Game-Leader of the Year' award, honouring the mastermind behind team tactics, went to RRQ’s Nguyễn 'cgrs' Công Anh. His ability to deliver calm, composed shot-calling during high-pressure scenarios was highly lauded, as his veteran leadership was instrumental in pushing his team to the Stage 2 finals.
