The homegrown indie game 'Shape of Dreams', which has sold over 500,000 copies, has released a winter update that includes Steam Workshop and mod support.

Neowiz released the massive winter update for Shape of Dreams on the 11th. With this update, Shape of Dreams now supports the Steam Workshop, allowing users to create, install, and share various mods to freely expand the game environment.

The end-game structure has also been strengthened. A hardcore mode called 'Limbo' has been added, providing special emblems as rewards for tiered challenges. A 'Hidden Boss' and new skills for 'Vesper' have been introduced, increasing the difficulty of late-game combat and expanding the range of strategic choices.

Overall system improvements have also been made. A large-scale balance adjustment, including new memory and essence items, has expanded build variety. Additionally, five new extensions, random events, and an item ban system called 'Dissolution' have been applied. This creates an environment where players can more precisely configure their desired builds in both solo and co-op play.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the update, Shape of Dreams is running a 30% discount promotion until the 18th. Furthermore, all players who log in by January 9th will receive a 'Christmas Hat', and from the 19th, a 'Winter Festival Special Daydream' quest will be available for about a month.
