The zombie apocalypse simulation game 'Quarantine Zone: The Last Check' (hereinafter referred to as Quarantine Zone), where players inspect survivors for infection, has officially confirmed its release date for January 13.

Players take on the role of a checkpoint manager at a safe shelter in a world ravaged by a viral outbreak. The primary mission is to vet survivors attempting to enter the shelter and determine whether they are infected. Using high-tech equipment such as portable X-ray scanners, UV lights, and laboratory analyzers, along with their own intuition, players must identify carriers hiding signs of infection or those smuggling contraband.

If a suspicious individual is discovered, players can take various actions, such as placing them in temporary isolation or sending them directly to a disposal facility. Allowing an infected person into the shelter will lead to a catastrophic viral outbreak across the base, while incorrectly isolating a healthy survivor results in a waste of precious resources.

Beyond inspection, players must manage limited resources such as food, fuel, power, and medical supplies, as well as fortify defensive facilities. The game also features unexpected events to reduce monotony, such as subduing individuals who refuse inspection and attempt to flee, or piloting armed drones to fend off zombie hordes attacking the checkpoint.
