Kuro Games, which announced it was in the process of establishing a Korean branch in February last year, has appointed a General Manager for the branch.

General Manager Kim Jun-hee announced his appointment as the head of Kuro Games' Korean branch via social media on the 6th. Kim stated, "I am very pleased to take on the role of General Manager of Korea for Kuro Games," adding, "I will build a solid local community and provide world-class service."

Kim has worked at various domestic and international game companies for approximately 15 years. He has handled business management in Korea for hardware manufacturer Razer, as well as mobile game developers Glu Mobile, PerBlue, Tilting Point, and Scopely. Since 2023, he served as the Korea branch manager for Infold Games, known for titles such as 'Shining Nikki' and 'Infinity Nikki'.

This appointment is an extension of Kuro Games' announcement in February regarding the establishment of its Korean branch. At the time, Kuro Games stated that it was in the process of establishing the branch to "get closer to players, communicate with them, and provide higher quality service" in order to improve the negative localization issues of 'Wuthering Waves'.

With the appointment of a General Manager, it is expected that the establishment of the Kuro Games Korean branch and the recruitment of personnel will gain momentum.
