Nuverse, a game publisher under ByteDance, announced on January 15th that it is launching a massive update titled 'Frenzy Sand Journey' for its action RPG 'CoA: Crystal of Atlan'. This update includes a level cap increase to 70, a new main story, top-tier raid content, an overhaul of the growth system, and benefits for all users, aiming to elevate the overall gameplay experience.

Once players reach level 60, they can embark on a quest to unlock the new level 70 cap. This update also introduces a new main story chapter, 'Aerial Village'. Set against the backdrop of the Free Airspace, the story follows the investigation into Eudora's disappearance, unfolding around a mysterious new continent and the truth of the past. Additionally, new skills for all classes will be added from levels 65 to 70, further expanding combat options.

As for top-tier content, a new raid called 'Dark Lair' has been added. Tailored for level 70 players, this raid features various difficulties including Solo, Story, Elite, and Legendary, and drops items required to craft the 'Black Feather' series gear.

Furthermore, through the 'Crow's Challenge' event, players who clear the raid within the top 24 on the server will receive the exclusive title 'Brave Night Feather', while top-ranked co-op players will be awarded the 'Messenger of the Sword Feather' title. New systems to reduce the burden of character growth have also been introduced: the 'Mentorship System' for veterans and newcomers to grow together, 'Gear Imprinting' to add random options to Epic gear, 'Gear Inheritance' for lossless transfer of enhancement levels, and 'Group Auctions' for fair distribution of rare badges, significantly improving the progression environment.

A Nuverse spokesperson stated, "This level 70 update is focused on providing deeper growth and the thrill of challenge to all adventurers through content expansion and system innovation," adding, "We look forward to seeing many adventurers write a new legend together starting January 15th."

To commemorate the update, all users will receive a 'Speed-up Pass (Level 60)' and a 'Level 60 Epic Gear Box', along with growth acceleration events for new and returning players. Additionally, various content such as the new costume summon 'Dawn of Light', the limited-time pet summon 'Year of the Dragon', a revamped point shop, and a reset of the 'Double First-Time Purchase' bonus will be added.
