Blizzard has announced the schedule for its upcoming showcase event, set to take place in early 2026. This showcase will cover new updates and future plans for major titles, including World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Diablo.

The showcase will be available to watch via the official YouTube channels for each respective franchise. The 'World of Warcraft: Azeroth Status Report' will be revealed on January 30 at 2:00 AM (KST), followed by the 'Overwatch Spotlight' on February 5 at 3:00 AM. The 'Hearthstone Spotlight' will air on February 10 at 2:30 AM, and the 'Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight' will be broadcast on February 12 at 7:00 AM.

Blizzard President Johanna Faries commented on the showcase, stating, "The Blizzard development team has prepared a special lineup for players across every universe." She added, "This showcase arrives at a pivotal moment to reflect on Blizzard's 35-year history and reaffirm our aspirations for the future," noting that it marks the beginning of many stories to be shared regarding Blizzard games this year.

Meanwhile, alongside this announcement, Blizzard released a commemorative video titled 'The Next Chapter of Blizzard,' celebrating the company's history and legacy. The video highlights monumental moments, past releases, and memorable scenes from Blizzard's inception to the present. It features approximately 400 assets from Blizzard's internal archives, symbolizing a living legacy spanning 35 years. Blizzard explained, "The video was created with the intention of inviting players to the stories that will unfold in the future."
