SOOP has kicked off the first installment of its flagship esports league, STS, for this year. The main event for 'STS: Myths and Legends', featuring Teamfight Tactics, is taking place on January 28 and 29. Having started in 2020, this league is now entering its 7th year, featuring top-tier domestic players and popular streamers.

Prior to the main event, qualifiers were held over two days on January 24 and 25. After intense competition, 16 finalists were confirmed: 11 from the general seeds and 5 from the streamer seeds. The general seeds include T1 sCsC, Woori, ManEoLi, sonagi, GogoGamE, NamSil, Jip pok, Yeri, keeper, danyangkkun, and youmeyou. The streamers who advanced to the main event are TheDeft, ggulhye, Chun Gum, CleanuserHSH, and Elmumu.

The tournament begins with the Round of 16 on January 28, followed by the grand final on January 29 to crown the champion. The total prize pool is 11 million KRW. Notably, the winner and runner-up will earn a direct seed to the 'Tactician's Cup 2', a global Teamfight Tactics tournament.

Starting with 'STS: Myths and Legends', SOOP plans to host the STS league two more times this year and will also participate in the production of global Teamfight Tactics events.
