Cygames announced on the 7th that the main tournament for the 'Shadowverse Korea Open 2026 Season 1' (SKO 2026 Season 1), an official e-sports event for Shadowverse Worlds Beyond, will begin on the 19th. The qualifiers were successfully held on the 4th and 5th, and the tournament features a total prize pool of 20 million KRW.

The eight players who qualified will advance to the main tournament, which will be held offline without an audience on the 19th. The main tournament will follow a best-of-three single-elimination format. All matches, from the quarterfinals to the semifinals and the final, will be broadcast live starting at 2 PM via the official 'Shadowverse Worlds Beyond' YouTube channel and the official Cygames Chzzk channel.

In the quarterfinals, Beita will face Nistia in the first match, and Omega will face Misari in the second. In the third match, Kokonadan will face GodRelD, and in the fourth, Flower will face Japangi. With new players advancing to the main tournament, there is anticipation for new strategies and diverse playstyles.

The total prize pool of 20 million KRW will be distributed as follows: 10 million KRW for the winner, 5 million KRW for the runner-up, 1.4 million KRW each for 3rd and 4th place, and 550,000 KRW each for 5th through 8th place. Notably, the winner of this season will be granted the Korean representative spot for the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2026', an international tournament where winners from around the world compete.
