LINE Games announced on the 20th that it has signed a publishing agreement with local developer Cresent for the new PC title, CODE EXIT, and has launched its official Steam page. CODE EXIT is a sci-fi horror game based on co-op play, scheduled for Early Access in the first quarter of 2027.

CODE EXIT is set in a high-tech city overrun by Minerva, an artificial intelligence that has gone rogue. Players take on the role of members of the investigation group Hermes, tasked with restoring the system while avoiding homicidal machines. The game unfolds as players work together in the dark to investigate facilities and complete given missions.

The game highlights co-op play as its core feature. It offers various content that encourages cooperative synergy, such as sharing information with teammates from separated locations or solving missions through mutual interdependence. Up to four players can enjoy co-op play, and in-game voice chat is supported. The enemies feature a system that learns player patterns, maximizing psychological horror and immersion, forcing players to make strategic choices for survival in constantly changing threat situations.

LINE Games plans to release a demo soon, allowing players to experience the unique content of CODE EXIT in advance. Following this, the company will proceed with further development based on user feedback, aiming for an Early Access release on Steam in the first quarter of 2027.
