The festival defines 'medieval games' as those set between the Iron Age and the arrival of firearms, with a feudal political system as a core requirement. Additionally, the setting must feature a population dominated by peasantry and include content utilizing swords, bows, crossbows, and siege weaponry like cannons.

Furthermore, games that are merely set in the medieval period but lack gameplay or narrative elements related to the era are unlikely to participate. For titles that span multiple eras, such as simulations, the medieval period must be prominently featured as the primary setting. The festival runs until the 28th.
