Niantic announced on the 21st that it will host a large-scale event, 'Monster Hunter Now Spring Festival 2026'. The festival will run for two weeks from the 27th to May 10th, featuring increased Elder Dragon activity and the addition of new limited-time equipment.

First, a new event-limited weapon, the light bowgun 'Rose Assault', will be introduced. 'Rose Assault' features the 'Cruel Critical' skill, which increases damage with a certain probability when a negative critical hit occurs. This allows hunters to achieve high damage efficiency even without a fully optimized armor build, and event-exclusive enhancement bonuses will make monster hunting even easier.

Furthermore, during the festival, all Large Hunt points will change to 'Elder Dragon Interception' sites, operating 24/7 to facilitate smoother cooperative hunting with hunters worldwide. Additionally, the monster access range will be increased by 1.5x, and rare items such as the 'Glittering Egg' or 'Sparkling Egg' will be guaranteed as rewards for 'Elder Dragon Interception'.

A new enhancement element, 'Mysterious Driftstone [P]', has been added, allowing players to imbue armor with skills such as 'Partbreaker' and 'Special Skill Boost'. During the festival, the distance required for smelting driftstones is reduced to 1km, allowing players to upgrade their gear faster than usual.

In addition, the event exchange shop offers various rewards, including the limited 'Gardener Post' headwear, exclusive guild card backgrounds, and Spring Festival equipment upgrade tickets.
