SOOP will broadcast the Korea regional qualifiers for the Pokémon UNITE category of the 'Pokémon World Championships 2026 (WCS 2026)', hosted by The Pokémon Company. The qualifiers consist of an online stage on May 17th and the Korea regional finals held at COEX on May 24th. The winning team will advance to the 'WCS 2026' main event in San Francisco this August.

This tournament serves as a regional qualifier for the 'WCS 2026' main event and is being held across Asian regions, including Korea. The winning team from each region will advance to the Pokémon UNITE division of the 'WCS 2026' in San Francisco this August to compete for the final championship title.

The tournament will be conducted through a combination of online and offline stages. The online qualifiers will take place on Sunday, May 17th, and the top eight teams selected will advance to the Korea regional finals held at COEX on Sunday, May 24th. Registration is open until Wednesday, May 13th, and the tournament follows an open qualifier format, allowing anyone to participate. The tournament features a total prize pool of $25,000 (approximately 34.45 million KRW). All participants will receive limited-edition license art as a participation reward. Additionally, players who participate in the online qualifiers and visit the offline venue for the Korea regional finals will receive exclusive on-site perks.
