South Korean developer Novaflare has unveiled its new project, 'Project Rabbit', along with a trailer on the 14th.

Project Rabbit reimagines 'Alice in Wonderland' as a dark fantasy, set in a world where East meets West. The trailer showcases a blend of medieval European castles and traditional Korean tiled-roof houses, while the protagonist is seen wearing a Western-style uniform adorned with a traditional jade hairpin.

The combat features elements reminiscent of Soulslike games. It focuses on parrying and dodging, identifying boss weaknesses, and striking at the right moment. Players can use various weapons such as longswords and sword-and-shield combinations, and given the scene where three characters attack a boss together, cooperative multiplayer appears to be supported.

The developers describe Project Rabbit as an 'extraction Soulslike action RPG.' The goal is to explore the environment, defeat enemies, and escape within a limited time. Some players have noted similarities to 'Elden Ring: Reign of Night,' which was released in May of last year.

Meanwhile, industry reports indicate that Novaflare is a new developer established last year, primarily composed of early development staff from NCSoft's unreleased 'Project E.' With this trailer, Novaflare plans to accelerate the development of its new title.
