The price for the most anticipated game of 2026, 'GTA 6', has been unveiled.

Rockstar Games announced on the 25th, just before pre-orders went live, that the base price for 'GTA 6' is set at $79.99 (approximately 123,700 KRW). The Ultimate Edition price is set at $99.99 (approximately 154,700 KRW), and with no mention of a new GTA Online version, it appears the existing service will continue when the game launches this November. The physical package does not include a disc, providing only a code inside the box. Pre-orders start at midnight on the 25th.

The pricing strategy for 'GTA 6' has become a major talking point in the industry. Some analysts had predicted a $100 price tag for the base game, sparking debates on whether the industry should hike prices for all AAA titles. While $79.99 is steeper than your average AAA release, many argue it is not an unreasonable premium for the 'GTA 6' moniker. To date, only Nintendo’s 'Mario Kart World' has dared to charge $79.99 for a base version, which retailed for 98,000 KRW in Korea.

Along with the pricing, the Ultimate Edition contents have been revealed. It adds vehicles, weapons, outfits, and actions throughout the story. You get the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the Watson Bay Paradise garage, the '95 Grotti Cheetah sports car, the olive-drab Dinka Enduro motorcycle, the Crest kayak, and Jason’s Vapid Ganado pickup truck. You also gain access to two exclusive vehicle mod shops: Vice City Rideout Custom and Lake Leonida One-Eyed Willy. Furthermore, you can hunt for and customize four classic cars via mechanic Wyman’s missions, and claim the Shitzu Squalo boat for fishing in Gambit Bay.

Weapons, cosmetic items, and extra content are also packed into the Ultimate Edition. These include the Hawk & Little Morgan revolver set found at the Vercetti Estate, plus Jason’s engraved Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Cloche K17 pistol. An additional heist mission involving a gang's illegal warehouse in Southside Vice City is also included. For character customization, you get outfits inspired by the 'Maka the Gator' TV show, plus access to Stock 305 clothing store, Sara Unisex Salon, and Electric Fang Tattoo, which offers over 50 designs by the artist collective Pale. These bonus items unlock chapter by chapter, and standard edition owners can upgrade their purchase separately.

Pre-ordering nets you the Vintage Vice City Pack. It includes the '55 Vapid Stanier sedan, the Ocean Beach Shore Court garage, two outfits—Jason’s pastel linen suit and Lucia’s red sequin mini dress—and a tropical weapon skin featuring the Tommy Vercetti palm tree pattern. This pack is included with digital purchases made before November 20, while physical versions will have them available until supplies last. Digital pre-orders also grant a one-month free trial of GTA Plus, which includes 500,000 GTA dollars deposited into your online account monthly, a 15 percent bonus on special Shark Cards, and various vehicle discounts.

GTA 6 will launch on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with official support for the Korean language.
