Neowiz announced on the 29th that it is celebrating the 19th anniversary of its long-standing online FPS, A.V.A, with a fresh update and a host of special events. A.V.A has been in service for 19 years since its original launch in 2007.

The highlight of this update is the revamp of the classic annihilation map, Anaconda, now reborn as 'Anaconda Core.' The map has been redesigned to diversify engagement paths, allowing for more strategic flanking and entry points, and it supports both Quick Match Annihilation and AI Annihilation modes. Beyond the map, the developers have rotated the Demolition mode maps, added two SR Mechanic Boosters, and introduced a sniper-exclusive special weapon, the 'Sniping Healing Pistol.' New items for the Black Market and skin transformation items have also been introduced.

The 'A.V.A 19th ANNIVERSARY: SUMMER FESTA' promotion will run from the 1st to August 24th. In line with this, Neowiz revealed an image of a new character scheduled for a July update. In the signature 'Take Your Gun' event, players who play for 19 minutes daily will receive 'Ice Cream' currency, which can be exchanged for two permanent items of their choice.

Additionally, the 'A.V.A Marble' event rewards players with in-game Euro currency and commemorative firearms based on the number of completions. Users who have played the game over the past 18 months will receive a 19th Anniversary Choice Box, along with benefits such as GM blessings, discount coupons, and commemorative weapon capsules. The deadline to claim rewards for this event is August 30th.
