Nexture has rolled out a massive update to celebrate the 14th anniversary of its mobile café management sim, I Love Coffee. The update introduces a fresh theme, a dedicated research facility, an increased level cap, and a new progression system. Given the game’s long-standing service, the team is focused on providing veteran players with new motivation.

The new Pastel Sweets theme blends soft pastel hues with a cake party concept, allowing you to craft a charming and sweet café. Alongside the theme, the developer has added new menu items like cake crumble shakes and strawberry cream donut sandwiches, paired with dedicated machines. To round out the vibe, there are also four new jukebox tracks to customize your café’s atmosphere.

A brand-new, independent space called the Coffee Lab has also been revealed. Moving away from the traditional 3rd-branch operation style, this area incorporates automation to help reduce the fatigue of repetitive tasks. Progression has been bolstered as well; the maximum level for characters has been increased from 100 to 110, and a new synthesis system now allows you to combine duplicate recipes to discover brand-new ones.

To mark the 14th anniversary, a series of events is underway. Pre-registered users can claim rewards themed around the number 14—such as profile frames, a nostalgia theme selection box, gold, and Jeju bean exchange tickets—until August 31st. Furthermore, the developer is hosting a variety of community activities, including Constitution Day season quests and a 14th-anniversary menu 'Ideal Type World Cup' tournament.
