Nexture announced on the 6th that it has launched the second-wave update for its cafe management simulation game, 'Maru Is a Puppy: I Became a Cafe Owner? How Cool is That!', in celebration of its first anniversary, featuring the opening of a new cafe space, the 2nd branch. This update marks the first store expansion since the game's release, designed to help players utilize their collected items more extensively.

With this update, players can operate a 2nd branch, a new cafe space separate from the existing one, allowing them to express their own personality and concepts in diverse ways. Nexture designed this space to allow players to freely arrange the various themes and interior items added over the past year of service.

A special event will also be held to celebrate the birthday of Hwang Soon-jung, a character from the original Naver Webtoon. Players who complete the exclusive quest released on August 10, Hwang Soon-jung's birthday, will be rewarded with a special birthday costume. Additionally, a special buff will be applied during the same period, reducing stardust production time in the game by 50%, allowing players to enjoy the game more quickly and conveniently.

A commemorative event for the opening of the new 2nd branch, where players can receive benefits by using coupons released through official communities, has been underway since August 5. Along with this, login rewards and special quests for National Liberation Day will also be introduced. Players who log in during the event period will receive a National Liberation Day commemorative reward, and completing the National Liberation Day quest will grant a Taegeukgi emblem item.
