VALOFE is set to launch 'A.V.A: RE:BIRTH', a new online FPS title based on Neowiz's 'A.V.A' IP, within this year.

A.V.A, originally developed by Neowiz, has amassed over 10 million cumulative users worldwide. The title has seen service across Korea, Japan, Europe, and South America, with Japan alone recording approximately 3 million cumulative users and over 100 billion won (10 billion yen) in cumulative revenue. It even climbed to the top spot as the most-played FPS in Japanese internet cafes.

A.V.A: RE:BIRTH focuses on integrating an extraction shooter genre into the existing A.V.A IP. While retaining the strategic combat and tactile satisfaction unique to A.V.A, the developers are overhauling the balance and implementing a new extraction shooter mode and system designed to remain playable even on lower-end PCs.

VALOFE plans to service the game in regions including Japan, Thailand, Russia, and Brazil. The global service will be spearheaded by the Japanese subsidiary G.O.P, which brings over 18 years of operational experience from servicing the original A.V.A in Japan.

A VALOFE official stated, "This new project based on the A.V.A IP is about delivering familiar thrills in a modernized way," adding, "We aim to strengthen our global service portfolio by providing stable operations in the international FPS market."

A teaser is scheduled for release during the third quarter, at which point VALOFE plans to ramp up global marketing, engage with the community, and disclose the official launch schedule.
