NEXON rolled out its 'NEW WAVE' summer overhaul for TalesWeaver on the 17th.

First, the developer has overhauled the content clear rewards. Rewards are now unified into the in-game currency 'SEED', while less valuable loot has been removed to make room for a new currency called 'ELSO'. Players can acquire ELSO by hunting monsters or playing through content, and it is used for equipment upgrades, including Encrypt, Sienna’s Aura, and Relic enhancements.

Equipment upgrades are also seeing an expansion. A new system dubbed 'Sienna's Aura' arrives, allowing players to boost stats up to level 10 with zero risk of failure. Furthermore, the Shinto’s Relic enhancement cap has been pushed from level 2 to level 10. Once players hit that level 10 milestone, they can evolve their gear into the new, top-tier 'Lunaria Relic'.

To support this, a new piece of content called 'Ancient Relic Sanctuary' has been added to farm reinforcement materials, and the Relic UI has been improved for better convenience. NEXON has also removed entry items for daily tasks like the Abyss Treasure Vault and Task Force Subjugation, while streamlining the flow and paths for major content hubs like Luminous, Abyss Deep Layers, Core Master Dungeon, and Shinto’s Nest.

To celebrate this update, NEXON is hosting the Blue Coral Illumination Festival until August 28. By clearing various mini-games, players can use the Jelly-pi Vending Machine to earn dungeon entry passes and 1+1 bonus reward vouchers.

Furthermore, a 'Treasure Scramble' event runs until August 13, handing out high-tier 'Aeonis Lapis' enhancement materials to one lucky player each week. There is also a 'Newbies Are Always Welcome!' campaign; players who help out newcomers or returning veterans can enter a raffle for prizes including AirPods Max, mechanical keyboards, and department store vouchers.
