The official Pokémon UK account took to X on the 17th to confirm their attendance at 'Gamescom 2025' and detail what to expect at the booth. Gamescom 2025, the world's largest gaming spectacle, is set to take place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, from August 20 to 24. According to the post, the booth will feature a demo of Pokémon Legends: Z-A alongside experiences for the Pokémon TCG and Pokémon UNITE.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A, appearing on the Gamescom 2025 floor, serves as the latest entry in the Pokémon Legends series following the 2022 release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Set in Lumiose City within the Kalos region—the stage for Generation 6—the narrative follows a player visiting for tourism who embarks on a journey with a partner Pokémon. True to the Legends series, the title leans heavily into open-world exploration and action mechanics, and with the setting rooted in Generation 6, fans can look forward to the return of 'Mega Evolution'.
