It seems that we will be seeing the developers of Escape from Tarkov (hereinafter referred to as Tarkov) in Korea later this year.

Battlestate Games, the studio behind Tarkov, announced its global exhibition tour schedule via the official website on the 24th. The tour kicks off at PAX West on August 29, followed by Tokyo Game Show (September 25–28), Paris Games Week (October 30–November 2), and finally G-STAR (November 12–16).

However, the exact nature of these appearances remains a mystery. Whether Battlestate Games will set up a standalone B2C booth, share space with other publishers, or simply host community events nearby is yet to be decided. Gamemeca reached out to G-STAR officials, who confirmed that they cannot yet verify specific exhibition details for any single developer, leaving the method of Battlestate Games' arrival at G-STAR entirely up in the air.

Tarkov, an extraction shooter released back in 2017, tasks players with surviving and escaping the fictional city of 'Tarkov'. The game has been widely praised for its gritty realism and the sheer tension of looting under constant threat. It is largely credited with pioneering the extraction shooter genre as we know it today, and the studio has previously announced plans for a full release within this year.
