LILITH Games is celebrating the first anniversary of the Korean launch of its open-world idle RPG, 'AFK Journey', with a slew of updates and events kicking off on the 8th.

The developer is rolling out a dedicated return server for those who have been away from the game for a while. To qualify, players must have been inactive for at least 14 days and hold five or more Legendary heroes; you can verify your eligibility directly via the official status page.

Those who jump into the return server will be greeted with a generous care package, including 20 heroes (five from each of the four factions), 100 All-Hero Recruit invites, 10 Rate-Up invites, 10 Epic invites, and 10 Starlight Crystals. Furthermore, the developer has implemented a hero and skin inheritance system to make the transition smoother.

On August 8th, the new 'Estate System' drops. You'll be able to cultivate your own garden using various materials and decorations, and if you're feeling social, you can collaborate with other players to boost your gardening and construction efficiency.

To mark the anniversary, the developer is handing out the new Dimensional SSR hero, 'Pandora', known as the 'Gift from the Otherworld', completely free of charge. During the event, any time you pull an SSR hero, Pandora is guaranteed to appear.

Log in for seven days, and you'll bag the tank hero 'Phraesto' on the final day. By participating in the 'Crimson Bloom' event and racking up points, you can also net rewards like the Gold Crystal for SSR heroes or the exclusive Gold Crystal for the Hypogean hero, Scarlita.

Finally, the anniversary party extends to the real world with a collaboration with coffee franchise Dal.Komm Coffee, running from August 8th to September 5th. Whether you hit up their online store or visit an offline location, you can grab limited-edition bundles, with specific stores decked out in a special theme.
