The long-standing rivalry between T1 and Gen.G continues as the two teams clash once more in the second match this Thursday, the 7th. This marks their fourth face-off in the LCK regular season this year, or the sixth if you count the LCK Cup and MSI.

Gen.G was on a staggering 27-match winning streak throughout 2025, but that run came to an abrupt end on Friday, July 25, during the LCK Roadshow at T1's home ground, where they suffered a 1-2 comeback loss. Since then, Gen.G has managed to regain their momentum with clean sweeps against kt Rolster and Nongshim RedForce.

T1 is looking just as formidable. They are currently the only undefeated team in Round 3, boasting a four-match win streak that includes that vital victory over Gen.G. Aside from that 2-1 thriller, T1 has been dismantling opponents with 2-0 scorelines, suggesting the squad is hitting their absolute peak.

Meanwhile, the 25.15 patch, which hit the live servers on Wednesday, July 30, is set to be implemented for the LCK starting from Round 4. With various champion updates in the mix, we are likely to see a major reshuffle in the support champion tier list.

The 25.15 patch targets Alistar and Braum—staples of both ranked play and the professional stage—with nerfs. Both champions have seen their base armor reduced, which critics suggest will significantly dent their durability. Rek'Sai, who has been missing in action for quite some time, receives a rework in the 25.15 patch. In the second week of LCK Round 3, Dplus KIA's bottom laner 'Aiming' Kim Ha-ram took the Gold King title. This is the fourth time Kim Ha-ram has claimed the top spot in 2025.
