The Chungnam Culture & Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) is set to host the Chungnam Governor's Cup Youth & Office Worker Esports Tournament on September 13th and 14th at the Cheonan Youth Complex Community Center.

Hosted by the Agency and sponsored by the Chungcheongnam-do provincial government and the Cheonan Youth Foundation, this event aims to foster wholesome leisure culture among the youth, encourage communication and harmony for office workers, and expand the local esports base.

The youth tournament on the 13th will feature VALORANT (5-player team, PC) and Brawl Stars (3-player team, mobile). The office worker tournament on the 14th will consist of League of Legends (5-player team, PC), StarCraft (2-player team, PC), and Puyo Puyo Champions. Participants can register for Puyo Puyo Champions on-site.

The Cheonan Youth Complex Community Center will host a variety of side events alongside the competitive esports matches.

The opening ceremony on the 13th will feature a congratulatory performance by the Chungnam Music Creation Center musician Oa, followed by an esports exchange match between youth from sister cities in Chungnam. On the 14th, attendees can look forward to event matches featuring popular influencers. Throughout both days, the venue will also offer VR gaming zones, mini robot soccer, laser shooting, and game aptitude assessment zones.

Agency Director Kim Gok-mi stated, "Following our 2024 event in Asan, I am delighted to host this year's tournament in Cheonan. The Chungnam Governor's Cup Youth & Office Worker Esports Tournament serves as our region's representative esports stage, and I hope it becomes a venue where youth and office workers alike can display their honed skills, foster harmony, and demonstrate a healthy spirit of sportsmanship." Director Kim Gok-mi encouraged local residents to take a keen interest and participate.
