Pocketpair’s Palworld, which recently held a two-way collaboration with Terraria, is now launching a massive collaboration event with Once Human.

The event is set to begin on October 30th and will be a one-way collaboration, with Palworld-related content being added to Once Human. First, a new island themed after Palworld will be added to Once Human. This island features the environmental characteristics and unique ecosystem of Palworld, where Once Human’s Metahumans and Deviations coexist with Pals from the Palworld universe.

Players will be able to experience a transformation system using special items to become a Pal, allowing them to explore the world of Once Human from a new perspective. Confirmed Pals include 'Cattiva', 'Chillet', and 'Chillet Ignis', with more mysterious, hidden Pals scheduled to be added as well.

The developers of Once Human stated that all collaboration Pals will be obtainable for free. In addition to the Pals, various cosmetic items such as limited-edition outfits, accessories, and functional items will be provided.

Meanwhile, a Palworld community manager added that there are currently no plans to add Once Human content to their own game.

Palworld developer Pocketpair is currently involved in a patent lawsuit with Nintendo. While Pocketpair has expressed its stance that it has done nothing wrong, it has since implemented patches that seem to respond to the lawsuit, such as modifying mechanics like hanging onto Pals or throwing spheres to summon them. With Nintendo recently acquiring new patents regarding combat methods involving summoning side characters, the two companies remain in a tense standoff.
