Fancy a fright without denting your wallet? Both the highly acclaimed Fear The Spotlight and Bendy and the Ink Machine are now up for grabs at absolutely no cost.

On the 24th, Epic Games announced that the horror title Fear The Spotlight will be available for free until the 31st. Following that, Bendy and the Ink Machine will take up the mantle from the 31st through November 7th.

Fear The Spotlight is a horror-adventure game that made its debut last October. It follows schoolgirls Vivian and Amy as they sneak into their school after hours, only to dabble with spirits and find themselves caught in a series of surreal nightmares. It has garnered positive reviews for its 90s-inspired aesthetics, unsettling soundtrack, and the genuine tension of being hunted by a creature sporting a spotlight for a head.

Then there is the 2017 hit, Bendy and the Ink Machine, a horror-action title that sees protagonist Henry wandering into a derelict animation studio. The game earned its stripes with its unique 3D take on classic cartoons, bizarre ink-stained monsters, and a narrative that hides more depth than you might expect. Its success paved the way for sequels like Bendy and the Dark Revival and Bendy: The Cage.
