A fresh mode has landed in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, tasking you with stepping into the boots of a rookie operative in the FOX special forces unit.

Konami Digital Entertainment Limited (Konami) confirmed on the 31st that it has injected the 'FOXHUNT' online multiplayer mode into Metal Gear Solid Delta.

If you already own the base game, this update is yours to enjoy. It leans heavily into the series' quintessential DNA—stealth, camouflage, and survival—turning the gameplay into a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek. You’ll join up to 12 players in real-time, tackling two distinct tactical modes: 'Survival Capture' and 'Survival Intrude'.

In 'Survival Capture', a fan-favourite callback to the original games featuring Kerotan frogs, the goal is simple yet frantic: gather the most Kerotans before the clock runs out. As the number of available frogs dwindles, the match turns into a proper white-knuckle affair.

Then there is 'Survival Intrude', which forces you to get creative with your survival toolkit. You will need to master the 'AT-CAMO' to blend into the environment and rely on your 'Naked Sense' to sniff out enemies and gear. It is all about being the last one standing as the map inevitably shrinks around you.
