KOG's 'GrandChase Classic' is wrapping up 2025 with the introduction of a brand-new region, 'Solene'. It has been three years since the last new continent was added. This is a new map where the 'GrandChase' crew will embark on a new epic alongside the latest character, 'Iris'. The 'Solene' region features five dungeons in total, starting with the 'Chapel of Eternity'. The 'Chapel of Eternity' begins by revealing the past through Iris's recollections.

The update launches alongside the first dungeon, 'Chapel of Eternity'. Character growth is now more accessible through updates such as an increased character level cap, a new skill rune system, new anklet gear, and streamlined missions and UI. Players can now build characters with unique stats based on their preferred growth path.

Along with the new dungeon, a new theme song has been released. 'Song of Promise' is the first new theme song in 22 years since 'Hope'. The theme song can be found on the official YouTube channel. Director Tomo stated, "We are preparing to ensure players can enjoy the new story, new dungeons, and the new theme song for 'GrandChase Classic'."

'GrandChase Classic' added an 'Awakening' system in 2025 to strengthen the growth of existing characters. At the same time, the growth progression has been enhanced to allow players to see new sides of their characters. The release of the new character 'Iris' signals the expansion of the 'GrandChase' worldview, and the team continues to focus on character balance and quality-of-life improvements.
