The life-skilling activities, which serve as a foundational pillar for Mabinogi, have undergone a major overhaul.

NEXON rolled out the first phase of its 'NEW LIFE' update on the 11th. Through this update, a six-month 'Life Season System' has been introduced to life-skilling content such as farming, cooking, and crafting, establishing a cyclical structure.

Players can experience a more structured life-skilling cycle through seasonal exclusive content, including crop cultivation, crafting, deliveries, and trade. The first season, which begins with this update, will run until July 2nd of next year.

Furthermore, the 'Life Association' has been implemented, allowing players to complete gathering and crafting delivery quests. Through this, players can level up their 'Seasonal Life Level'—which grows independently of combat stats—and earn rewards.

The transition to a seasonal model also includes a revamp of various life-skilling content. 'Tailteann Farm' has been improved to reflect Erinn’s actual weather changes, increasing the realism of crop growth, and interactive elements such as energy recharging at friends' farms and dealing with thieves have been added. The trade season has been extended from four to six months, and a new 'Cooking Freshness System' has been added, which enhances food effects immediately after preparation.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the update, NEXON is hosting a 'Fever Season Event' alongside various login rewards, running until March 12th of next year.
