According to the official announcement on the 14th, the event was held at the Dubai Frame, marking a successful conclusion. This final, held on the night of the 13th, officially goes down in history as the first-ever Tetris match played live in the sky.

The spectacle relied on 2,800 drones to form a giant, functioning Tetris grid. With 1,400 drones allocated to each player, the setup wasn't just a pre-recorded light show; it was synced directly to the players' real-time inputs. The blocks moved without a hint of lag, dialing up the tension for everyone watching from below.

It was a technically demanding feat, requiring the drones to reflect every drop, rotation, and line clear in real-time. Even the score, remaining time, and upcoming Tetrimino previews were displayed in the air, shifting instantly with the gameplay. Maintaining such precise coordination and stability in the sky makes this Dubai event a landmark moment for both drone performance art and the world of eSports.

As for the result, Turkey's Fehmi Atalar has been crowned the inaugural global champion, securing the top spot with a final score of 168,566 points.
