The title is 'Watch Grass Grow Simulator', and it does exactly what it says on the tin: it focuses entirely on observing grass growing in real-time. You just sit there and watch the greenery sprout over roughly eight weeks of real-world time.

The pace is slow, but the transformation is undeniable. There is no management involved and nothing can go wrong, so you just sit back and observe. There are five Steam achievements to unlock, including one named 'Nice Job' to commemorate your patience. The achievement related to rainy weather is also quite a curiosity.

'Watch Grass Grow Simulator' was released on Steam on January 19. It does not support the Korean language, but given the minimal text involved, there should be no language barrier. The real question is whether any player has the grit to endure the full eight weeks to see the ending.

Games chasing this brand of extreme relaxation are nothing new. Back in 2019, 'Rock Simulator' made waves by letting players be a rock, eventually racking up over 1,400 reviews and a 'Very Positive' rating.
