Kakao Games rolled out an update for their MMORPG, ArcheAge War, on the 21st, packing in a new dungeon, fresh gear, and a sweep of content tweaks.

The headline act here is the 'Forbidden Labyrinth,' a dungeon that introduces anonymity—a first for the game. Everyone except your own guildmates appears under a cloak of mystery. You get two guaranteed matches out of a maximum of six per day, each lasting 90 minutes. If you manage to take down the dungeon's master, 'Golden Trial Luthra,' you might walk away with heroic or legendary tier armour and new passive skill books.

We also have the arrival of the 'Vaadran's Light Armour,' a new Primordial-grade piece. It unlocks the third effect of the Primordial armour set, which expands your Duskstone detection range—scaling all the way up to level five.

Furthermore, the balance for relic accessories has been overhauled, and their upgrade ceiling has been raised. The stats for 'Eannad Wizard's Earring' and 'Noble Hermit's Bracelet' have been tweaked, and you can now push them up to +20 instead of the previous +12 cap. To save your nerves, they’ve introduced the 'Harkini's Relic Accessory Enchant Scroll,' which ensures your gear won't break or lose enhancement levels if you fail.

Over in the Harihara Continent, the 'Inister' hunting ground is getting a facelift. Players have been complaining that the commute was a bit of a slog, so they’ve trimmed down the 'Desolate Hilly Area' and repurposed the remaining space into a new hunting ground called the 'Field of Hatred' to boost your grinding efficiency.

General housekeeping was also on the agenda. Ship stats now scale better with their grade in naval content, and the guild warfare mode, 'Temple of Power,' has seen a few changes: higher base health, shorter match times, easier navigation with added portals, and tighter anonymity.

To mark the update, a slew of events are live. For the existing realms, 'Lucky Draw Season 9' is running until February 4th, loaded with high-value rewards to celebrate the relic accessory changes. New realms 'Gdelon' and 'Ewin' will host the 'Gods' Attendance' login event until February 25th. Across all realms, you can also hunt for event currency to swap for rewards in the 'Night Sky Constellation' event.
