Kakao Games announced on the 6th that the 22nd season of Path of Exile, the new 'Void' league, will launch on the 7th. The new league follows a story where players enter the Void to rescue 'Jin', who has been captured by the 'Aparud'.

Players will battle various monsters and Aparud mages within the Void, freeing Jin from his shackles to earn rewards. The main boss of the league is the newcomer 'Saresh'. As players progress through the league story, they will face off against the Aparud faction and ultimately challenge the necromancer Saresh to obtain exclusive items.

This update also features a complete overhaul of the endgame system. Moving away from the previous method of requiring specific map items to enter individual regions, players can now unlock all regions of a certain tier using only a map item of that corresponding rank. Additionally, the Atlas structure has been redesigned to make earning Atlas skill points more convenient.

A new ascendancy class for the 'Scion', 'Reliquarian', is also being added. The Reliquarian is a member of a secret society that collects and studies unique items, and all their passive skills are characterized by their synergy with unique items.

The Season 21 'Guardians of the Flame' league is being integrated as permanent content. From Act 6, the NPC 'Ailite' will appear, allowing players to enjoy the league content more quickly. This ensures that popular features from the 'Guardians of the Flame' league, such as the 'Tree of Origins' system, will be available at all times.
