HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.7, titled 'Heroes Never Fade in the Past', will launch on the 24th. The update introduces new agents Namgung-woo and Sisia, alongside a fresh batch of themed events and combat challenges. The narrative this time around centers on a fierce scramble for glory at the joint Heroes tournament hosted by TOPS.

The new S-rank lineup features Sisia, from the Urban Management Bureau, and the Aether-attribute Namgung-woo. Sisia is an Electric-attribute Attack agent who kicks off combat with 3 'Toxin' points. Each point boosts your critical hit rate for a duration whenever you deal Electric damage. While Toxin drains naturally, you can burn through it rapidly using her 'Snake's Kiss' basic attack after triggering an Enhanced Special Skill for significant damage output.

Then there is Namgung-woo, an Aether-attribute Stun agent and the final member of AOD. He brings a unique utility: when a foe is Dazed, he boosts the Anomaly accumulation efficiency for the entire party. Once he’s built up enough 'Accent', he can unleash a heavy charged attack to pile on Daze and extend the stagger duration, effectively buffing his own stun and anomaly efficiency. He supports the party's explosive damage output, and can amplify party-wide attack power via his ultimate, 'Aether Veil: Delusional Ensemble'. Plus, he’s getting a fancy new costume to match his stage presence. Collect all the AOD members during the version, and you’ll unlock a special wallpaper as a reward.

The Version 2.7 signal banner sees the return of S-rank Ice-attribute Stun agent Idhary and Electric-attribute Attack agent Seed. Meanwhile, over at the 'Cauldron' hotpot shop in Lumina Square, there is a new themed event. You’ll be helping the shop manager, Shinmi, resolve issues in what promises to be an engaging culinary experience.

If you're looking for a brawl, the 'Hollow Special Mission' introduces a relay-style combat system featuring three duos, and the 'Virtual Combat Trial' adds new enemy lineups and special scoring mechanics.
