XLGAMES announced on the 18th that it is launching 'THE CUBE, SAVE US', a post-apocalyptic extraction action game developed by its internal Studio Cube, into Steam Early Access.

THE CUBE, SAVE US is a PvPvE extraction action game set on a post-nuclear, devastated Earth. Players explore the 'Cube', a massive structure left behind by an alien civilization, consisting of 27 distinct sectors to scavenge for resources and escape. The game features procedurally generated map layouts and a focus on close-quarters combat.

The game follows a free-to-play model, with all core content—including maps, weapons, skills, and both PvE and PvPvE modes—available for free. The developer stated that no paid items affecting combat power or survival probability will be sold, with monetization limited strictly to cosmetic items and costumes.

The Early Access version includes a new boss mutant, 'Yaksha', along with various enemy types, an elite/boss-specific gear system, Steam achievements, and an NPC affinity system.

XLGAMES plans to continue content updates and improvements based on player feedback during the Early Access period. A launch event is also underway, providing all players with 'Special Survival Rewards' such as a baseball bat and high-grade bandages. Additional rewards can be earned through the in-game event, 'Into the Stormy Battlefield!'.
