Gravity released the Episode 4-2 'Varmundt's Legacy' update for its PC MMORPG, Ragnarok Zero, on the 15th. This new episode follows the story of adventurers tasked with defending the Varmundt Mansion from the remnants of Illusion, who are attempting to seize the estate's treasures.

The update introduces various facilities within the mansion as new dungeons. Areas such as the garden, library, sewage treatment plant, and mana power plant have been implemented as dungeons, featuring unique monsters tailored to each location, such as the Sewage Venenum and Mana-addicted Plaga. Hunting these monsters allows players to obtain monster cards that provide buff effects.

Episode 4-2 is available to players who have reached base level 200 and completed Episode 4-1. The main quest progresses sequentially through conversations with NPCs in the mansion, including tasks such as 'Meeting the Mansion Manager' and 'Repairing Adoren'. Upon completing a total of nine daily quests, players can interact with NPCs Cube-rain, Spiera, and Lyza to exchange equipment and apply random options or enchantments.

To celebrate the new episode, Gravity hosted various events running until the maintenance on May 7th. Players who complete the Episode 4-2 main quest and clear at least 50 daily quests are entered into a raffle, where 20 winners will receive 20 Light Purple Diamonds and 20 Special Toolbox coupons. Additionally, during the event period, NPCs Stat-chu and Miss Buffin in Payon offer free skill and stat resets, as well as HP/SP recovery and a 60-minute all-in-one buff. All accounts logging in during this period will also receive one 'Special Bubble Gum' daily, which increases the item drop rate by 100% for 30 minutes.
