NHN Cloud has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with physical AI specialist NC AI to expand its AI infrastructure-based business.

NHN Cloud announced on the 21st that it has signed a 'strategic business agreement for joint AI solution and cloud infrastructure projects' with NC AI. The signing ceremony took place at NHN Cloud's headquarters, Play Museum, with key figures including NHN Cloud CEO Kim Dong-hoon and NC AI CEO Lee Yeon-soo in attendance. Both companies intend to meet the growing demand for AI transformation by strengthening their collaborative foundation to scale up AI infrastructure-based business.

The partnership is designed to combine the core technical prowess and business capabilities of both companies, aiming to support successful AI transitions across industries and solidify their standing in the domestic cloud market. The scope of this collaboration is extensive, covering AI infrastructure management, technological advancement, joint sales, market expansion, and cooperation on government-led national projects and public sector initiatives. They are particularly focused on supplying optimized AI infrastructure to sectors where security and stability are paramount, such as public services and finance, to strengthen their business competitiveness.

NC AI specializes in world models that simulate the laws of physics and physical AI technology that interacts with real-world environments. The two companies will work together to ensure these technologies are successfully implemented in various industrial fields. NHN Cloud, leveraging its know-how in operating large-scale GPU infrastructure, will provide the high-performance computing environment necessary to bring these innovations to life. Furthermore, they are accelerating their strategic cooperation to secure government-led national projects.
