Blizzard is gearing up for the April 28 launch of the Diablo 4 expansion, 'Vessel of Hatred,' at 8 AM. Ahead of the release, the company has unveiled a new opening cinematic, an original track, and limited-edition collaborations.

Pre-loading for 'Vessel of Hatred' begins today, April 24, at 8 AM. The opening cinematic guides players into the deepening corruption of Mephisto through a scene where Neyrelle confronts the Lord of Hatred.

Alongside this, the Diablo 4 development team has shared key information to know ahead of the 'Vessel of Hatred' launch, introducing various features of the expansion and the 'Hatred’s Downfall' community challenge.

The iconic nu-metal band Korn has released an original track, 'Reward the Scars,' inspired by 'Vessel of Hatred.' It is their first new song in four years and is available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify. The music video will be released on launch day, April 28, at 2 AM.

Additionally, a collaboration with the American guitar brand Jackson has been announced. The 'X Series Limited Edition Diablo IV Kelly HT,' a premium electric guitar, features artwork inspired by Mephisto and high-performance Jackson hardware. It is available for pre-order on the official Jackson website.
