Nexon is bringing WARS OF PRASIA to the global stage. 'Embers of the Uncrowned' is the title, a game that tasks you with rebuilding a fallen house in a world shattered by elven invasion.

Nexon pulled the curtain back on the 23rd, launching the official Steam page alongside a cinematic trailer. The game paints a bleak picture of a continent ravaged by elves, where you, playing as a hero from a disgraced noble line, must reclaim the lands humanity once called home.

You step into the boots of a bastard of the House Harborwel. The journey involves recruiting allies to topple formidable bosses, with the option to team up with other players. It utilizes a quarter-view perspective and offers three distinct classes: axe-wielders, swordsmen, and magic users. Furthermore, the 'House Harborwel' system lets you establish settlements and develop cities, tying the gameplay mechanics directly into the narrative of rebuilding your legacy.

Nexon describes this new title as the global version of 'WARS OF PRASIA', which has been running in Korea since 2023. A Nexon spokesperson noted, "We have refined the action and controls for the quarter-view MMORPG experience, while also offering the thrill of becoming a lord and managing your own territory."

However, if you are currently in Korea, you will find both the official website and Steam page inaccessible. A Nexon representative clarified, "As it is being developed as the global version of WARS OF PRASIA, it is currently limited to international markets, and we plan to further refine our target countries throughout the testing phase."

Embers of the Uncrowned, Nexon’s bold global bid for the WARS OF PRASIA IP, is expected to release a demo on Steam soon.
