Pearl Abyss has released the first official original soundtrack for its game 'Crimson Desert', titled 'Crimson Desert Original Soundtrack Volume 1'. Users can download the album via Steam as a free DLC. The album is provided in both MP3 and FLAC formats, allowing listeners to enjoy high-quality audio at a studio-mastering level.

This album is based on the musical direction of the Crimson Desert development team, focusing on expressing the vitality of the 'Pywel' continent within the game. It aims to provide a sound that harmonizes with the world-building and enhances immersion by densely capturing the atmosphere of the vast open-world Pywel continent.

The collection consists of 75 tracks divided into four themes: 'Themes', which captures the grand prologue of the epic; 'Battles', which expresses the scene of desperate combat; 'Exploration', where you can feel the breath of the open world; and 'Bosses', which presents the tenacity and awe toward victory.

Hwiman Ryu, Pearl Abyss's Audio Director, stated, "We have decided to provide these high-quality tracks for free in response to requests from players around the world who wanted to own the OST since the announcement of Crimson Desert," adding, "I hope that through the music our composers and team have carefully prepared, players can once again experience the thrill of Pywel."

The official Crimson Desert original soundtrack can also be heard on the official Crimson Desert YouTube channel and the 'Pearl Abyss Music' channel. These tracks are scheduled to be officially released on major music streaming sites such as the Epic Games Store, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Melon in the future.
