Wemade's MMORPG 'Legend of Ymir' has announced its upcoming May update. The update aims to provide new growth goals for players by introducing new battlefields, hunting grounds, and set items.

On May 7th, the new battlefield 'Sindri's Lost Treasure Island' will be added. It is a raid-style content where clans compete to occupy resource-rich islands across five different locations. Each clan will select an island to conquer based on their combat power. Players accumulate victory points for their clan by gathering resources and defeating monsters. Once a clan reaches 100% of the required points, 'Sindri's Lost Treasure Chest' will appear in the center of the island. Clan members must fend off rival clans and destroy the chest to claim the treasure.

On May 21st, the new currency 'Blue Amber' and 'Set Items' will be introduced. Players can dismantle equipment to obtain 'Blue Amber', which is used for gear enhancement, crafting, and purchasing items in an exclusive shop. Set items provide additional effects when specific pieces are equipped together. Players can collect and combine these sets to suit their preferred playstyle.

A new hunting ground for high-level players, 'Lower Ancient Dragon's Nest', will also be added. This area features monsters ranging from level 90 to 100, offering opportunities to gain experience and loot.

Wemade will host the '2nd Ymir Cup World Championship' in June. This event is an esports tournament utilizing the 'Server War' content of 'Legend of Ymir'. Wemade held the first tournament in Singapore last February, featuring battles with up to 1,200 participants. The second tournament in June will place greater emphasis on character control, strategy, and teamwork.
