Netmarble has released the first post-launch update for its new action RPG, 'Monster Taming: Star Dive', developed by Netmarble Monster, introducing the new character 'Mina'.

Mina is a nine-tailed fox descended from a lineage of shrine maidens who serve the God of Fate, making her a central figure in the game’s lore. While she is highly admired and revered within the Far East continent's beast-kin society, she carries the heavy burden of her destiny beneath her composed exterior.

She is a 5-star fire-attribute brawler with explosive firepower. She attacks enemies using fire orbs called 'Hwaryeonggu', and when using her ultimate skill 'Hwaryeong Bunsin', she deals massive fire damage while summoning a clone to fight alongside her. She is expected to show high synergy when teamed with characters who possess fire-attribute debuffs.

The 'Mina' event recruitment will run for four weeks starting April 29. Alongside this, the event 'Flame that Gathers Afterimages' will be held, allowing players to uncover Mina's hidden story. By completing event missions and clearing dungeons, players can earn currency to obtain rewards such as the animated profile background, 'Mina: A Precious Gift'. Additionally, quality-of-life improvements have been made, including the addition of a Monster Ring trait grade filter and an event story skip function.
