NEXON announced on the 30th that it has rolled out the new 'CROWN' season update for V4. This patch brings a fresh 'Title' system to the table, along with a series of quality-of-life adjustments and a heap of commemorative events.

The new 'Title' growth content is designed to give your character's stats a boost. You'll need to grind through dungeons and various field activities to unlock these. Each title packs different buffs like 'Critical Resistance' or 'Damage Reduction', and you are free to swap them out to suit your preferred playstyle.

Elsewhere, the cooperative 'Silunas Defense' is getting a touch-up with new stages and improved rewards, not to mention a faster pace to keep things from dragging on. We are also seeing the introduction of 'Mythic' grade medals, plus some much-needed balance tweaks for the Archer and Axler classes. The party raid matching system has been overhauled to allow separate matchmaking for standard and season servers, and the rest reward structure has been rejigged so you can walk away with a bit more loot than before.

NEXON is, of course, marking the occasion with a flurry of events. First up, running until May 14th, is the 'Baram: Kingdom of the Winds 30th Anniversary Dream Rift Event'. By venturing into the upper and lower levels of the 'Dream Rift', you can collect 'Acorns' and 'Rabbit Meat'. These can be traded at the shop for goodies like 'Vatra Summon/Shadow Packs', 'Star Fragment Enhancement Growth Boxes II', and 'Transcendence Material Selection Boxes II'.

If that wasn't enough, the 'Season CROWN Starter Festival' is in full swing until July 15th, granting every player who logs in a 'The V PLUS' gift. Furthermore, until July 23rd, you can slay field bosses or clear designated dungeons to earn 'Season CROWN Coins', which can be spent on various items, including 'Growth Acceleration Potions'.
