You can follow this saga on Diana’s official X account. On April 30, she made a play for the @MegaMan account, but alas, her efforts fell flat.

As she put it: "When the program known as Mega Man said hello, I thought I’d try to crack his account. He teams up with humans to fight viruses, which sounds a lot like Hugh and I smashing bots. He told me that if I promised not to hack him, we could be friends."

Pragmata, which launched on April 17, has been met with warm praise from critics and players alike, largely thanks to the charm of its android girl, Diana. Capcom has since kept the momentum going by leaning into this 'rogue hacker' marketing campaign to maintain long-term engagement.

The irony of targeting Mega Man isn't lost on us, given the shared themes of androids, hacking, and blue outfits. However, the developers have been quick to clarify in interviews that Pragmata is an entirely original IP for Capcom and has no narrative ties to the Mega Man series.
